Nelsonville water system boil order including Buchtel and parts of York TWP, until 3:30PM, Thu, 5/15/2025, boil cooking and drinking water 3 minutes before consuming

The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for the entire Nelsonville water system including the Village of Buchtel and parts of York Township, due to a 10-inch water line break and repair on West Columbus Street. The boil order will be in effect for the area until 3:30PM, Thursday, May 15, 2025.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
