A traffic accident which has damaged an electrical pole has caused a power outage to 1,038 AEP customers in the West end of Nelsonville. Crews are working on the problem but time for restoration has been given at this time. Do not call public safety agencies to check on outage status.
Take precautions against high heat and humidity. Check on elderly family members and neighbors and persons with medical problems that may be affected by the high heat and humidity.
