On Monday, March 23, 2015, Nelsonville City Council by ordinance directed the City Manager to enter into contract for refuse, rubbish and recycling services for City residents, businesses and institutions with Southern Ohio Disposal, the lowest and best bidder. To accommodate the transition from the current service provider to Southern Ohio Disposal, the City Administration asks for your understanding and cooperation. Southern Ohio Disposal will be contacting all current customers by mail and describing the services they can provide, including a reduced rate residential service and curbside recycling.
