The City of Nelsonville will implement a city wide street sweeping program starting Monday, April 6, 2015. The streets will be swept Monday through Friday the first full week of each month. Citizens will be required to use an alternate parking spot the day their side of the street is swept. As shown on the attached map, the city is divided into two sections with Watkins Street being the divider. The East Section will be swept on Mondays and Tuesdays, while the West Section will be done on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In each section, even residential address numbers will be swept one day and the odd side of the street will be swept the following day. Residents with questions can call 740-753-1314.
